Police revealed the motive behind the incident when police shot a police officer in Central Lampung, Lampung. The perpetrator shot his fellow police officer allegedly out of revenge.
"So this perpetrator has a grudge against the victim," said Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Kombes Zahwawani Pandra Arsyad when asked for confirmation, Monday (5/9).
The policeman who was shot dead was Aipda Ahmad Karnain who served as Bhabinkamtibmas in Putra Lempuyang Village, Central Lampung.
Aipda Ahmad was shot at his home on Jalan Merpati, Bandar Jaya, on Sunday (4/9) night. The perpetrator, Aipda Rudi Suryanto, who served as Ps Kanit Provos at the Way Pengubuan Police, was arrested three hours after the shooting.

"The temporary motive we got from the suspect's statement to have the heart to shoot the victim, allegedly because the perpetrator took revenge against the victim, because the victim always exposed the suspect's disgrace to his friends and there was news in the WhatsApp group that the wife of the perpetrator had not paid the online social gathering money. ," he explained.
